Cancellation Policy

The short version. You can cancel your subscription yourself, at any time, from your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. Cancellation stops all future charges; your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

1How to cancel

  • From your dashboard — go to Settings → Billing & credits and use Cancel subscription. The cancellation is scheduled straight away, with no email or phone call required.
  • Or by email — write to support@hexcoded.ai from your account email address. We acknowledge within 1 business day and action the cancellation on your behalf.
  • There is no cancellation fee, no minimum term and no notice period on any plan.

2When cancellation takes effect

  • Cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. Your dashboard shows the exact date — "Cancelling on date".
  • You keep full access and your remaining plan credits until that date. Nothing is switched off early.
  • No further charges are taken after you cancel. The renewal that would have followed does not happen.
  • After the date passes, your plan ends and unused plan credits expire (plan credits do not roll over — see the Refund Policy).

3Cancelling during a trial or promotional period

If your subscription includes a trial or promotional period, it can be cancelled the same way, from Settings → Billing & credits. Cancelling before that period ends means you are not charged when it ends.

4Cancellation and refunds

Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period you have already paid for, and subscription payments are not refundable. Where a charge was taken after you cancelled, that is a billing error and we refund it in full — see the Refund Policy, which also states our processing timelines.

5Downgrades and plan changes

You do not have to cancel to move to a smaller plan. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period; upgrades apply immediately and you pay only the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the period. Neither generates a refund.

6Cancelling an individual generation

Video and image generations start immediately and usually finish in minutes, so a generation already in progress cannot be cancelled. If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side, its held credits return to your balance automatically — you are never charged for a failed render.

7Cancellation by us

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, without refund. If we discontinue the Service or close an account that has not breached those terms, we refund the unused portion of the current billing period under the Refund Policy.
